What We Do?

Project Access-Collin County’s goal is to provide immediate access to preventative and routine healthcare.

Empowering Clients

Empower clients to participate in their care and coordinate with other local, state and federal resources to promote our community’s overall wellbeing.

Coordinating Care

Acknowledge, quantify and coordinate physician and health care provider charity care, and spread that care as equitably as possible.

Making it Easier

Make it easier for physicians who are already caring for the uninsured to better manage and coordinate care.

What it means to be Uninsured?

Being uninsured affects people’s access to needed medical care and their financial security.

Why Project Access?

Project Access-Collin County services provide a real time alternative to utilizing the local Emergency Department as a means to routine healthcare.

Our Volunteers

Volunteering with Project Access-Collin County allows you to donate care to the uninsured in a way that is organized, equitable and safe.

Always helping

Since our inception in 2011, Project Access-Collin County has provided these services to over 1097 Collin County residents.

We will qualify and coordinate the donated care that you may already be providing, enabling you to help your uninsured patients as you would your insured patients. We take care of all the details to allow you the freedom to focus on what you do best…healing people.

Medical Volunteers Needed

Project Access-Collin County has an immediate need for Physician Volunteers in the following specialties:

  • Hematology
  • Infectious Disease
  • Neurology
  • Podiatry
  • Cardiology
  • Gastroenterology
  • Vascular
  • Pulmonology
  • Endocrinology

How Can I Get Involved?

By focusing on prevention/lifestyle changes and treatment at the early signs of an illness, we can control costs and minimize severe health care challenges. Today, many uninsured wait too long before getting treatment and go straight to the emergency room. Project Access-Collin County services provide a real time alternative to utilizing the local Emergency Department as a means to routine healthcare.
