Dr. Deepak Pahuja is board certified in Internal Medicine and experienced physician executive. He has a MBA with system level experience and demonstrated accomplishments developing and advancing innovative solutions to transform health care to achieve the safest, highest quality and most cost effective & evidenced-based care that is patient and family-centered. Dr. Pahuja understands the business of medicine and is a practitioner committed to change management to redesign the care delivery model across the entire continuum of care: inpatient, outpatient and post-acute services. He has extensive experience with concurrent reviews, retrospective reviews, Medicare and commercial audits and appeals. Dr. Pahuja has led case management and utilization review teams working collaboratively utilizing evidenced-based protocols to achieve benchmark clinical outcomes: patient case RAC and MAC audit reductions.
Dr Pahuja is the recipient of the 2010- 2011 American Association of Physicians of Indian Origin “Most Distinguished Young Physician Award” for outstanding performance in patient care, research and community service.
Deepak has been awarded the American College of Physicians Illinois Downstate and Pennsylvania Leadership Development Achievement Award in recognition for completion of ACP`s Leadership Seminars for Young Physicians (September 2012)
Deepak was awarded the Physician Recognition Award with Commendation in 2010 by American Medical Association for the last 2 years for excellence in educational activities and exemplary effort.
Dr Pahuja is a lifetime founding member of the American College of Physician Advisors, Inc and Faculty at Appeal Academy.
